It’s been a while since I’ve shared some photos from the photography group that Sonny & I organize. Last summer several members of the group rented a limo and drove around to various parts of Tacoma with three ‘brides’. The idea was for the members to learn shooting the white dress in the bright sun and various outdoor locations.
That’s one thing when looking at the work of a photographer, do they know how to keep the whites from losing detail in the bright sun. After all you pay a lot of money for these beautiful gowns and don’t you want to show them off? If they are blown out they become a white blob with no texture, etc..
If you are worried about time on your wedding, one can always schedule a shoot after the wedding and before you send that beautiful wedding dress to the cleaners, so you can go out and about town getting some fabulous and fun wedding portraits.
None of the dresses were truly trashed or destroyed during the session, no more so than any outdoor wedding.
