We started out at Owen Beach at Point Defiance Park.
How can you resist? Life is about stopping and having some fun and adventure during the journey.
After Owen Beach we headed over to Camp 6 for some woodsy photos.
We made a quick stop at the Les Davis Pier before finishing at the Jack Hyde Park on the waterfront.
We enjoyed our time with Erin & Jake and we wish the two of you much more happiness and laughter! =) Family and friends can view the completely gallery here: Erin & Jake

The newlyweds were standing to the side as the best man and maid of honor signed the marriage certificates. I thought this was sweet, them holding hands and her beautiful flowers.

At this wedding all the groomsmen were young sons of the groom, all the bridesmaids were sisters of the bride. I had asked all the bridesmaids to put their arms around the groomsmen for a group photo.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw this and had to quickly photograph him with that priceless expression

Jason reminds me so much of my youngest son, Ryan. Now if only my youngest could find a woman like Brandy, I'd be one happy mom.
The entire family had tee shirts that represented them and I had to laugh when I saw Brandy's shirt "Here I come to save the day!", being a mom to two active boys I'm sure she's had to run in many times to save the day for them. =) Jason wore a GI Joe tee shirt. How fitting for both.
We will be looking forward to photographing Jason's homecoming through the Op: Love program late summer/fall.

With the recent announcement that we would be participating in the Tacoma Metro Parks Bridal Open Houses I thought today's 'Image of the Day' should be something taken at one of the parks here in Tacoma. =)

Before the wedding ceremony Ben gave Casey this beautiful black diamond heart necklace. I have to say, he has good taste! She thought so too as evident by her smile. =)
Both Sonny & I loved how the natural light was shining on Casey as she waited for the ceremony to start. She was so calm, peaceful and happy.
With two photographers we are able to get several angels at the same time.
Look at the smiles behind the newlyweds. Such joy!
We had a little time before the DJ was to announce the couple into the reception so we stopped at 'Sweet Inspirations' malt shop which was across the street from the reception for a quick photo op. With the old feel of the store I wanted to use a sepia treatment with this photo.
The reception was at the historic Hotel Washington in Chehalis.
Not all of the brides family was able to get to the church prior to the ceremony so we were able to get them all together at the reception for more relaxed family portrait.
Looks like they are serving each nicely ...
ohh spoke to soon!
For a little fun, I ask Ben & Casey to put themselves into our pseudo photobooth for this quick series of photos. Providing them with this photostrip. =)
The last two photos are album pages I designed from their wedding. A few bride portraits.
And a page from the stop at the malt shop.
We hope you enjoyed the photographs from the wedding. Family and friends can view the full gallery here: Casey & Ben.

Even though this is 'As Baby Grows" portrait session, mom and dad are very much a part of babies growth and development and we like to include parents in some of the portraits. =)
Isn't she a ray of sunshine in the photo? Love that smile!
"Mommy & Daddy ... I'm right here you know!"
"This is my best angle for the camera."
We find the babies are much more relaxed when they are in their own environment with their own toys and of course with mom and dad close by. We look forward to seeing baby 'A' at 9 months of age! You can view some photos from her 3 month session here: Baby A @ 3 months.
