One thing that impressed me about the entire group was their big genuine smiles. There was no way you could be around this group and NOT smile. Such JOY!
Many churches are very restrictive on movement in the church during the wedding ceremony, at this particular church we were given a lot of freedom of moment. And the best part, we were able to stay out of view in the shadows. If you have a church wedding, be sure to check with them on the photography rules so you don’t have any surprises on your wedding day.
A word of advice?
A quick ‘interview’ with the videographer before going into the reception. Again those smiles!
Their reception was held at South Park Community Center, part of the Tacoma Parks. I walked into the room and it simply took my breath away! It was very regal and ready for a king and his queen. Yamah put a lot of thought and time into her lavish reception.
Good times!
It was an entertaining evening at the reception and the party was still going strong when we left, after all they still had to ring in the New Year along with a new marriage. We all left feeling blessed to have been given the opportunity to document their wedding day, and we all left feeling so joyous.
We’d love to hear your thoughts, please feel free to leave a comment for us or well wishes for Yamah & Chris. Again, thank-you for allowing us to be a part of your day.
Photography or "Creative" team (as we were all called by Yamah & Chris consisted of Sonny, Monica and our assistants Randy & Sharon
