Lauren & Walter ~ Bremerton Wedding

It had been raining for several days prior to their wedding, it even  rained the day after their wedding.  However, on their wedding day we were all blessed with beautiful skies, sunshine and warmth!  It felt so incredibly good.  =)

Image of the Day: Parking lot clean up crew

This past weekend we photographed a wedding near MT Rainier and later met with a young couple for a portrait session in the park.  We were just sitting there chatting after the shoot when I noticed something approaching us.  In a rather squeaky voice I asked my husband what was approaching us.

We've heard of the cut-backs due to the economy but putting the animals to work as the parking lot cleaning crew is going to far!  But the tasty tid bit found during the rounds are just the thing to feed a hungry family waiting at home.  (Yes, we saw pups.)

Just as a FYI, this fox came within 3 feet of my husband who took this photograph.  I stayed securely in the truck!

Tacoma Portrait Photography

As I was organizing my photo files I saw that I had placed a couple of portrait sessions in a folder to be posted here on my blog.  They were all taken as I was discontinuing one blog and creating a new blog.  I think it's time (past due actually) to share the photos from the Lynn Family Christmas session.

In reality, she was simply waiting to walk down the isle in a matter of minutes.  A little photoshop work removed all the clutter off the table to give this a clean portrait look. =)

Image of the Day:  Peace Rose

Honestly, I'm not positive it's a Peace Rose.  I always thought they were lighter in color.  Maybe a variation?  If you know, please feel free to correct me! =)

This was taken recently when we photographed a wedding at the Point Defiance Rose Garden.  The roses are in bloom!

06.07.10 ~ Tacoma Animal Photography

I don't dare to say 'pet' photography as I have no desire to have one of these as a pet!  However, this little guy did amuse and even scared me a wee bit.

In his eagerness to find food he jumped on my leg, which I started shaking my leg and screaming "NO, NO, NO, NO!!"  He wasn't giving up that easily, as he jumped from my leg into my open door of the truck!  He then ran and grabbed a small white bag sitting on the passenger seat next to my camera.  Again I'm screaming "NO, NO, NO!"  My voice becoming shrill with each NO.   And I imagine it must have been a sight to see.

In the white bag (which he couldn't get out) was half a donut.  Once he was out of my truck, and I was safely IN my truck with the door closed, I tossed him the donut in pieces.  Not that I'm really sure a donut is good for this guy but, I certainly wasn't going to eat it after he had manhandled the bag and well, he was rather entertaining from the safety of my truck!  Just keep him off my leg please!!!

So without further ado here is the 'Image of the Day'
