Song & Aaron flew down from Alaska to have their wedding at the conservatory at Wright Park followed by a reception dinner at the Pacific Grill Event Center.  Their wedding ceremony was small and intimate and the reception with friends and laughter.  We felt blessed to be a part of their day and getting to know Aaron & Song.

As we were all leaving The Pacific Grill Event Center, we asked if they were up for an experimental photograph, as seen in the last photo.  We are eager to do this again as we know now how to perfect the photo. =)

Kegan & Jeff ~ We Will!

With the same sex marriages now in place here in WA, we have been getting several same sex elopement style weddings.  However Kegan and Jeff planned a bit more traditional style wedding at Fort Townsend State Park overlooking the sound and a reception followed at the Northwest Maritime Center in Port Townsend, WA.  Stay tuned to view their wedding photos to be assembled for the blog soon!

Sarah Slims

I met Sarah a few months ago and heard her story about how she had lost a lot of weight.  She told me about  the product that was helping her and I pretty much decided it had to be to good to be true.  Still, she was so enthusiastic about her changes, showed me her before photos and admittedly I was impressed.   I told her I’d try it sometime, just not then.

Then she contacted me again wanting another portrait session as the company was putting her on their website and she needed some photos.  Again, how exciting!  Sarah has lost over 50 pounds using Plexus.  It’s a drink mix that you drink 1-2 times a day.  She didn’t change her diet, however her tastes and desires for certain foods went away. 

Okay, I’m trying it!  I haven’t been on it very long but, I’m already noticing some wonderfully positive changes!  I’m diabetic – my blood sugars have stabilized, I sleep good at night, no leg cramps, my moods improved, I have MORE energy!  Within the few weeks, I’ve already rid myself of 10 pounds.  I’m looking forward to seeing future changes in myself as I have seen in Sarah.

Jessica

Tim & Irene ~ Smile Sensation Station

Adding some entertainment & fun to a wedding is easy with Family Affair Photography’s ‘Smile Sensation Station’ AKA photo station.  Tim & Irene decided to add a photo station to start during the cocktail hour while they were out on the grounds getting their wedding day portraits completed.

When we arrived the venue manager pointed us to a very tiny corner and told us we would be there or outside on the deck.  Due to the claustrophobic space provided inside, I opted to move the station outside so we could all enjoy the gorgeous fall weather.  We then gave two options as a backdrop – the scenic backdrop of Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club or the themed pink backdrop.  Most preferred the beauty provided by the golf course.

This is just some of the guests who came and had some fun dressing up and allowing that inner child to come out and play.  Have you considered having a photo station at your wedding?  Guests love it!

Stacey & Marcus ~ We Will!

Getting married and considering an engagement session?  How about doing the session at a place that has special meaning to the two of you.  Stacey & Marcus (both teachers) decided to do their session not at a school but at the airport where they spend a lot of time picking each other up.   Stacy is from New Jersey and Marcus is living here in Seattle, they’ll be getting married and living in New Jersey in 2014.  We wish them much happiness and know they will be happy when the cross country travel can be reduced!

Sawyer for Bella & Gracie’s
