Every now and then I like to take a break from sharing wedding photographs to share some of my 'for the fun of playing with my camera' photos.  I'm always happiest when I'm with my camera.

Check back for more wedding and just for fun photographs!

Op: Love Photography ~ Sean & Melissa

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Sean's homecoming.  We first met when he was preparing for his deployment, you can see the photos here:  Sean & Melissa  The first photo here is my favorite from the first time I met Sean, Melissa and their delightful daughter. =)

I loved how she was holding on to Sean's ears to pull him in for her kiss.  =)

Hey photographer dude, have you never photographed a homecoming before?  Move ... FAST!  That's a crush you don't want to be in the middle of. (Yes, I learned that lesson!)

Welcome back home Sean!  Thank you Melissa for allowing me to be a part of this homecoming ... even if I cried like a little girl and had to rely on my auto focus. =)  BTW, Sean STILL reminds me of my oldest son and maybe that is why I really had a harder time controlling the tears.

Tammi & John ~ Mt Rainier Wedding Photography

We apologize to Tammi & John for not getting this entry up sooner.  I had every intention to get this up for them last week.  However, with my son home from the military, I found myself completely distracted and completely enjoying his visit. =)  They are to rare for this mom.

The bride expected bubbles when they left for their  honeymoon.  What she didn't expect was the bird seed that someone brought.  Bubbles make for fun exit photos, bird seed, not so much when the bride is having to protect her eyes.

Image of the Day: Cascade Falls on Orcas Island

This past weekend we had a wedding on Orcas Island and we spent a few extra days on the island to explore and unwind.   Our favorite part was getting to spend time at Moran State Park with it's views overlooking the islands and the waterfalls.  This is only one little segment of the falls.
