Melissa & Brian ~ Alexander's Country Inn

                                      
                       
Not long ago on our Facebook page I shared a photo of Melissa's bouquet and stated that I knew a good secret.  Well, now that the news of their elopement has been shared with family and friends, I can share some photos too.   Brian & Melissa were married in Ashford at Alexander's Country Inn near the entrance of MT Rainier National Park.   They opted to have their ceremony outside so they could enjoy what snow was available.   So, we all slipped and slid with bouts of laughter to the area they found for the ceremony.  Surrounded by some beautiful stately evergreens.  May I just state for the records, I love elopements!  We've photographed a few recently and feel honored to be included.

Myra & Jeremiah - Expecting!

                                          


Congratulations to Myra & Jeremiah who are expecting 'Baby Mango' any day now!  We are eagerly looking forward to photographing 'Mango' once born.  They opted to not find out the sex of the baby and have been affectionately calling the baby "Mango" which I just adore.  When I was pregnant I also opted to not know the sex until my children were born.   Which I suppose is a good thing because I learned later they would have told me that my youngest was a girl and well, he's ALL boy!   Anyway, here I sit impatiently waiting for 'Mango' to come so we can photograph another adorable newborn - such FUN!

Kasie & Joey ~ Engaged!

     

Despite the overcast and threat of rain, we met with Kasie & Joey at Steilacoom Park for their recent engagement session.  I love the variety of backdrops offered at the park; old barns, the lake, woodsy, and of course if you have a dog, the off leash park for portraits with Fido.   We are looking forward to photographing their wedding in a few short months .  Congratulations to Joey & Kasie!

We met with Samantha & David at Falls Park in Olympia/Tumwater for their recent engagement session.  Falls Park and Priest Point Park are a couple of my favorite parks in Olympia.  I am of course still learning about the many wonderful parks for portrait sessions in Olympia.   I'm thinking a day of exploration is in order one of these days when it's not raining and so cold.
