A Room Filled with Love

This week I’m pulling photos from old blog entries, this photograph was taken in 2008 at Nicole and Adam wedding at ‘The Landmark’ in Tacoma.  They had their ceremony in Gothic Ballroom followed by a reception in the Grand Ballroom.

This week I’ll be digging through some old blog entries for our ‘Image of the Day’ series.  The reason for doing this is because we just updated our computers (new) and have no photos on here yet!  I guess that means I’ll have to get the external hard drive out in the next few days.

Eat, Drink & Be Married!

  
              
This past weekend we photographed the wedding of Amber & Andrew at the Grand Holiday Ballroom in Olympia.  The wedding took place in the upper ballroom, followed by a cocktail hour in the lower level while the staff prepared for the dinner in the upper (main) ballroom.  The festivities continued after the dinner in the downstairs ballroom with music, dancing and cake.  A full preview of the wedding will be coming soon.

Julie, Steve and baby makes 3!

We originally met Julie and Steve in 2008 when they hired us to photograph their wedding at the Landmark Convention Center in Tacoma.  It was fun to catch up with them again and their new addition, a charming and beautiful daughter.

The dalhia's were still in bloom when we met at Point Defiance Park in October.  So much color!

            
It was great to see Julie & Steve again and more importantly it was wonderful to see they are still very much in love and have started their own family.

Since a majority of our black and white photographs featured this week have been more of a portraiture style, I decided to make this last photo in the series a fun photojournalistic photo taken during the reception.  It's always a joy to watch and photograph the couples after a wedding, the weddings remind them of their own marriages and it shows when they get on the dance floor afterwards.

Continuing with our black and white series, we have Krista and Dylan who had their wedding and reception at Genesis Farm and Gardens in Enumclaw.  They had a lot of fun and the day was filled with the sounds of laughter.

Life is Good with You!

                  
Michelle & Allen planned on having their August wedding at the Rose Garden in Point Defiance Park.  However, we had rain that day and the wedding was moved to the reception site which was at the Pagoda also in Point Defiance Park.  Nothing was going to ruin this beautiful day!

Really Married!

         
This week we will be featuring classical black and white wedding photographs.   Kara & Rob were married at Meeker Mansion in Puyallup.  I always love when the couples forget about us and get caught up in each other.   What beautiful happy smiles!

Lighting of the unity candle.  Justin and Jenna had a beautiful wedding ceremony at a church in Puyallup followed with a reception at the Pioneer Pavilion in downtown Puyallup.

Often times we will start with a standard group pose then once that is out of the way, we can have some fun in front of the camera!   Sonny was taking the photo and I went off to the side while they were focused on him.  Katie & Andrew had their wedding and reception at the Aerie Ballroom in Centralia.
