You are the dancing queen, young and sweet ...
I think every time I hear "Dancing Queen" by Abba, I will think of this young flower girl. This was her dance. =)

We have for our 3rd year in a row received an e-mail stating that we have been nominated for the "Best of Western Washington". While I have my suspicions on who the person was that nominated us the first year, I'm not sure who had last year or this year ... OR if it's just carried over year to year.
None the less, we couldn't be more excited to be nominated for our third year in a row. We truly feel we have been blessed with our business and the many wonderful customers who have come into our lives.
If you have a moment check us out here: Best of Western Washington - Family Affair Photography. And be sure to vote. Your votes are most appreciated! :-D Thank you again!
There are OVER 400 photographers up for nomination this year. According to the stats we have been in the top 30 so far! Keep the votes coming! Thank you to all who made our dreams possible and have allowed us to participate in those important dates of your lives!
I love when we get to do the engagement sessions! Why? Because many times we walk into a wedding not knowing the groom. We may have met him at the consultation, sometimes not.
Prior to the wedding most of our communications are with the bride. With the e-session, we get to spend some time with both the bride and groom. This allows us to get to know the personalities and more importantly we find the bride and groom are much more relaxed on their wedding day when it comes photographing them, their families and friends. It truly is a win-win situation for all. =)
This tall ship CGC Gloria from Columbia was here in Tacoma for the Latino Festival in 2008. This is one of my favorite photographs from my personal file. It thrilled me to no end when someone requested a poster size copy to put on their wall. =)
IF it's a nice day you would have a wonderful view of Mt Rainier in the background and Myrtle Falls in the foreground. However, for Jaysa & Jason's wedding, it was a cloudy August day with minimal views. Being cloudy didn't diminish their beautiful vows.
Off to their side the flower girl was engaged in a cute moment with her dad. While I caught the flower girl pulling her dad's ear, our assistant, Jennie caught the bride and maid of honor checking them out. =) The photo of the flower girl and her dad can be viewed in Michelle & Allen's preview: HERE
