A Bounty of Color

I had every intention to post a blog entry this weekend, I also had every intention of having a kick back, totally relaxed weekend!  None of that happened.  It was non-stop all weekend and now I’m ready for my day off – not that it’s happening today either. 
This photo was taken at wedding we photographed at Thornwood Castle.  The colorful flowers were placed in various locations of the castle.  With the soft lighting, dark woods, the colors and textures of the flowers it just helped to create a very warm and inviting look.

Eat, Drink & Be Married!

  
              
This past weekend we photographed the wedding of Amber & Andrew at the Grand Holiday Ballroom in Olympia.  The wedding took place in the upper ballroom, followed by a cocktail hour in the lower level while the staff prepared for the dinner in the upper (main) ballroom.  The festivities continued after the dinner in the downstairs ballroom with music, dancing and cake.  A full preview of the wedding will be coming soon.

The newlyweds were standing to the side as the best man and maid of honor signed the marriage certificates. I thought this was sweet, them holding hands and her beautiful flowers.
