Eugene OR New Year’s Eve Wedding

Jennie & Steve renewed their vows on New Year’s Eve in Eugene, OR.   The event was entertaining, boisterous and festive with a prom theme where Jennie was crowned ‘homecoming queen’ and Steve ‘homecoming king’ prior to the renewing their vows.











                       There were plenty of activities for the children during the night.

Fun in the Sun

Every day we post an “Image of the Day” on our Facebook page.  We used to post them on our blog too and recently stopped posting in both locations.  However, from time to time I will post a photo in both locations.  After all, we can’t have the blog feeling lonely!
This was taken at a fall wedding at the Pagoda in Point Defiance Park.  I loved when the bride and her bridesmaids pulled out their sunglasses for this fun playful shot.

Grand Holiday Ballroom Wedding

Amber & Andrew were recently married at the Grand Holiday Ballroom in Olympia, WA on a cold rainy December day.  Fortunately for everyone,  indoors it was warm, cozy and perfect for a wedding.





As Amber and the bridesmaids prepared for the ceremony, the groom and his men were chilling downstairs.

Who wouldn’t want to photograph Amber?  Such a beautiful bride!

Something old was a handkerchief from her grand mother (if memory serves me correctly) it was from WWI. 
Something new the pearl necklace, bracelet and dress.
Something borrowed were the pearl earrings.
Something blue, is the stone on her pinky finger ring.
And the frog in the bouquet was in memory of her sister who loved frogs.


                           
                        
There are plenty of locations for photographs inside at the Grand Holiday Ballroom – so , if weather is bad, you still can get great photos to remember the day!

The reveal


The high beam ceilings, the warm colors of the venue make for an inviting venue.


Downstairs is a reception area where Amber & Andrew had their cocktail hour, toast, cake and dancing.  The ceremony and dinner were upstairs in the main ballroom.

                 












                      

                        









We had a wonderful time photographing Amber & Andrew’s wedding.  After the ceremony and reception they were heading to a warm tropical honeymoon.
