It seems in June we had several maternity sessions and graduation sessions, both life changers in their own unique way.   Terese & Lee were giggling at my husband & I several times and of course had to ask how many years we’ve been married.   Not as many as some people might think!  (one camera between us is never a good thing)

But, this isn’t about us, this is about Terese & Lee who are expecting their first born this summer … any day maybe!   They have no idea how many blessings are in store for them.  And I assure you the blessings don’t stop when your child grows up and moves on with their lives.

Ronee & Daniel ~ Expecting!

Ronee & Daniel are expecting their first born, a son in about three weeks and decided to get some portraits done at Point Defiance Park.  Ronee found our Living Social special at the right time!  Congratulations to Ronee & Daniel, so many exciting changes are coming your way.  I know he will be a blessing in your lives.

Cherise ~ UW Graduation

What a time in life it is to graduate and be moving forward in life, it can be exciting and admittedly a bit scary at the same time!  New adventures, new JOBS or searching for jobs within your field of study.  Things seem to start moving in fast forward.

We met with Cherise at the campus of UW Seattle for her graduation portraits along with her friend Stacey who is featured in her own blog entry.  We (photographers) were having a great time exploring the campus with Cherise as she told us of her classes, favorite buildings or shared memories of her time at UW. 

We wish Cherise much happiness with her new pursuits in life.  With her bubbly outgoing personality I doubt she will have any problems finding her place soon.  Congratulations Cherise, we are proud of you and Stacey.  Thank-you for the ‘tour’ and time.

Stacey ~ UW Graduation

Before Stacey graduated from UW Seattle, she contacted me about getting some portraits done through a group we developed for aspiring portrait photographers.  Arrangements were made and a group of 4 photographers met us on the campus where we found Stacey and her friend Cherise ready for their senior – graduation portraits. 

Since we had 4 photographers and two models we split into two groups and we were supposed to rotate ‘models’ (our graduates).  However, with all the excitement of taking photos and all the beautiful locations on campus we soon lost track of time and each other!  So, I didn’t get as much time as I would have liked with Stacey.

Congratulations Stacey for accomplishing your goals!  We wish you the best in life and with future goals.  We know you will be successful in whatever you pursue in life.

Alexis ~ Rainier Beach High School Graduation

This week we are featuring a few of the graduates we photographed last month, some from high school and others from college.

Two years ago, we photographed Ashley, the older sister of Alexis and may I say what an honor to photograph Alexis now.  We had her ‘hobbling’ around the park as she had injured her foot at a recent track event.  Despite the injury she still moved around pretty good to be perfectly honest.  And was more than happy to check out the different areas of Point Defiance Park

Alexis graduated from Rainier Beach High School in Seattle and is planning on going on to a university (sorry, I forgot which one) and wants to become a doctor.  We wish lots of success and I think she will make a wonderful doctor someday.

Ashley ~ Bonney Lake Graduation

Ashley was quiet impressive in my humble opinion.  She brought in two cap and gown sets as she was not only graduating from Bonney Lake High School, she was also graduating from her local community college!  She will be moving forward to starting at a four year university as a JUNIOR!  I can’t even imagine the benefits of that jump start in life.   Congratulations Ashley, we know you will be successful with your future plans!

Josh ~ Curtis High School Senior

It’s hard to believe that we photographed Josh just before his graduation in early June and now that seems like a lifetime ago!   He’s looking forward to collage in a few short … is it weeks now?!?!  As Josh prepares for collage his little brother prepares for first grade.  Big changes for their family!
