This past summer we had the good fortune to photograph Dennis & Bonnie’s wedding at Albee’s Garden Parties in Olympia. Let me tell you it was love at first sight! I felt like I stepped into wedding heaven. I arrived early to check out the lay of the land and with each step it took my breath way and tingled my senses with all the wonderful textures, colors and locations for photography. There simply wasn’t going to be enough time to get the couple to all the lovely locations and honestly there was no wrong location for the portraits! The owners, Marty & Bob are gracious hosts and welcome you to their home.
Even my daughter has fallen in love with the venue through the photographs alone and has determined this will be one of the locations she MUST check out for her upcoming wedding!

It was one of our coldest days when we met with Bethany & Marcus for their engagement session at Point Defiance Park, not that you can tell by looking at either of them! They were keeping each other warm with the glow of their love …. I know, I’m being cheesy with that. I’m not sure how they were keeping warm, I for one was bundled with a long sleeve tee shirt, two sweatshirts and my winter coat!
